A team of four students from the College of Business at CityUHK has won the McDonough Business Strategy Challenge 2024.
"CityUHK PetPower" was held on campus by the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences at CityUHK to celebrate the power of human–animal bonds with a variety of engaging activities.

The first Graduation Gala of CityU's BVM was held on 28 October. With the recent attainment of direct accreditation from both the RCVS and the AVBC, all 11 BVM graduates of the leading cohort completed registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong and obtained their license to practise as veterinary surgeons.

Twenty students from various programmes at CityU interacted with local people, experienced local culture, taught at a local primary school and volunteered at an eco-farm during an eight-day trip to Mongolia on the Service Outreach Experience Programme over the summer.
A special orientation day held by Student Development Services at CityU on 25 August introduced CityU’s inclusive environment to undergraduate freshmen with Special Educational Needs as they embark on their new academic journey.
