Senior officials from Dongguan visit CityU
A senior-level delegation led by Mr Xiao Yafei, Deputy Director of the Guangdong Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee and Secretary of the Dongguan Municipal Party Committee, visited CityU on 25 October. They were warmly welcomed by Mr Lester Garson Huang, CityU Council Chairman, Professor Freddy Boey Yin Chiang, President, Professor Kevin Downing, Secretary to the Council, and Professor Lu Chun, Vice-President (Mainland Strategy). A meeting was arranged for both parties to exchange ideas on expediting the establishment of CityU (Dongguan).

The first Graduation Gala of CityU's BVM was held on 28 October. With the recent attainment of direct accreditation from both the RCVS and the AVBC, all 11 BVM graduates of the leading cohort completed registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong and obtained their license to practise as veterinary surgeons.

CityU launched CityU Milk in May, which has been keenly sought after by staff and students.
