CityU's 2000-2001 Annual and Financial Reports took two prizes at the 16th Annual International ARC Awards, the world's largest annual report competition.
ThinkTo further promote research on cultural interactions between the East and the West, the Centre for Cross-Cultural Studies, in cooperation with City University of Hong Kong Press, plans to publish a cross-cultural study series. With CCCS Director, Professor Zhang Longxi, as the chief editor, the series will consist of significant historical documents as well as original insightful writings on cultural interactions between China and the West.

CityU's 15th Anniversary Commemorative Album, titled Towards a New Era of Excellence, has won the 2000 Premier Print Award, also known as the Benny Award, in the "School Yearbook" category. The Benny Award, organized by the Printing Industries of America, Inc, is the largest and most prestigious competition in the printing industry worldwide.
