Professor Sun Dong, Chair Professor and Head of the Department Biomedical Engineering at CityU, has been elected a Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in the Technical and Environmental Sciences class.
Ms Grace Lau Mo-sheung, an alumna of CityU, returned to her alma mater on 19 August to attend a celebratory gathering after winning the Bronze medal for Hong Kong in the Karate Women’s Kata in the Tokyo Olympics.
CityU alumna Ms Grace Lau Mo-sheung, a female karate specialist, will compete in the Karate Women’s Kata in the Tokyo Olympics at 9am (HKT) on 5 Aug (Thursday), vying for a gold medal for Hong Kong. President Way Kuo will join the teachers, students and alumni to watch the live broadcast on the CityU campus and cheer together for Grace.
