A research team led CityU has discovered a new strategy for fabricating multicomponent superlattice alloys with disordered interfacial nanolayers that have both high strength and good ductility at various temperatures.
Three CityU students formed the only Hong Kong team to earn a first prize in the 2009 China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modelling, outperforming more than 12,000 teams from Hong Kong, Macau and mainland universities.
