HK TECH Tiger student elites start their glittering journey at CityU
About 200 HK TECH Tiger students set to soar on their journey to become future leaders were welcomed at CityU in a ceremony held both on campus and online on 29 September.
Students champion sustainability in regional innovation competition
Three CityU students were among the final winning teams at this year’s UAiTED Innovation Competition.
Twenty-eight CityU students took part in the IT exchange programme managed by Cyberport Digital Media Centre, travelling to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and Japan during the summer to undertake information technology or digital media training.
CityU gave a warm welcome and kicked off new initiatives to support new non-local students at the start of the academic year.
More than 100 students attended the third talk in the Civility Dialogue Series on 17 September, by Hong Kong politician Dr Rita Fan Hsu Lai-tai, on “The rise of China & university students in Hong Kong”.
CityU offered law students the valuable opportunity to study competition law over the summer at University College, Oxford, England through the Global Legal Education and Awareness Project.
