To avoid crowds, CityU will be holding consultations online this year. Students who are interested in enrolling in CityU can learn about CityU’s JUPAS programmes and learning environment while staying at home.
Morale boosting poster campaign cheers up campus
To thank all CityU members for their commitment, the “Anti-epidemic ‘Cheer Up Station!’” poster campaign has been launched.
The Chinese Civilisation Centre is holding an exhibition displaying the calligraphy, paintings and seal carvings of Professor Zhu Suizhi, Director of the Department of Calligraphy, China Academy of Art. The exhibition runs from 1 July to 20 August.
CityU will confer honorary doctoral degrees on Mr Liu Changle, Mr Xu Guanhua and Professor Rosie Young Tse-tse in recognition of their significant contribution to learning and the well-being of society.
A science and engineering student from CityU has been awarded a prestigious IEEE MTT-S Undergraduate/Pre-Graduate Scholarship by the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S)
Dr Ellen Ko, CityU’s Acting Vice-President(Administration), led a delegation of 16 executives from 11 administrative departments to visit higher education institutions and university towns in Guangzhou and Shenzhen on 15-16 June.
Mr Chung Shui-ming has been appointed Chairman of the University Council of City University of Hong Kong for one year.
A record 2,500 participants will be equipping themselves at CityU's Teachers Update Course 2006 with updated knowledge related to the challenges posed by the changing educational environment.
