1,500 job opportunities at CityU’s new E-Career Success Fair 2020
Riding on the success of CARLS launched in June, CityU recently unveiled its E-Career Success Fair 2020 which offered 1,500 job and internship opportunities for current students and graduates.
As many Hong Kong industrial enterprises have moved their production lines northwards into China's mainland, what are the prospects for local industry--will the local labour market shrink further or will there be more opportunities for newcomers? What role will local graduates play in the future development of Hong Kong's industry?
"I never thought that I would have anything to do with osteoporosis," said Ms Chan, an administrative staff member in her late thirties. Her doctor, however, thought her body mass index was low, which means she is underweight, and reminded her of the bone scan offered during CityU's Wellness March 2003. "My scan result suggested that I have a medium-to-high risk of getting osteoporosis."
A novel scheme introduced by City University's Student Development Services (SDS) is making life easier for exchange and non-local undergraduate students. Launched in October 2002, the Buddies Scheme with Non-local Students is a year-long, tailor-made programme designed to introduce non-Hong Kong students to local culture and help them settle into their new environment.
