More than 200 teams comprising secondary students from Hong Kong and Macau schools participated in the 12th Hong Kong and Macau Interschool Straw Competition 2009, organised by CityU Physics and Materials Science Society of the Students’ Union on 26 April.
In line with the caring culture advocated by CityU, more than 50 science and business students recently provided community service to people in need.
Two CityU projects on nanoscience initiated by the Department of Physics and Materials Science, have received their fair share of funding support from the Research Grants Council (RGC) central allocation 2002D03.
