Online reservation of CREATE! service is unavailable (except 3D Printing). Please contact our staff at the IT Help Desk for assistance upon your arrival. In order to maintain a safe and pleasant environment, the CREATE! room can accommodate a maximum of 4 persons at a time only. Hence, we may allow the core user who made the reservation for entrance only.

Now you can:BrowZine is a Library-subscribed app for iOS and Android mobile devices that allows current CityU staff and students to easily browse, read and monitor Library's scholarly journals from different publishers and platforms. It's a tool for journal browsing and current awareness, not a database for finding articles by searching.
BrowZine Web (Browzine.com) is the web version of BrowZine. Currently available features include My Bookshelf (your personal bookshelf of favourite academic journals), articles alerts (notifications of new articles in your favourite journals) and My Articles (saving articles found into collections). You can sync My Bookshelf and My Articles and get articles alerts on all of your devices (web, iOS, and Android). You need a BrowZine Account in order to synchronize My Bookshelf/My Articles across the web and all your BrowZine apps. Please refer to My Bookshelf and BrowZine Account FAQ for details.

When you first open BrowZine on your tablets or smartphones, you will be prompted to choose a Library. Select "City University of Hong Kong" from the list. Log in with your Electronic ID and your AD/LAN Password. You are then ready to browse, read and monitor the Library's scholarly journals using BrowZine! Don't miss the BrowZine Video Tutorials. |
Are all Library journals accessible via BrowZine?
Not all, but many thousands of Library-subscribed journals with issues published since 2005 are covered by BrowZine. BrowZine supports directly-subscribed journals from a range of publishers. Keep checking back the list as it is growing with time. Besides, accessibility of a journal via the app depends on whether you are an authorized user of the journal concerned.
Can BrowZine be used to access Library's journals off campus?
Yes, BrowZine will work for you both on and off campus so long as you have entered your login credentials correctly.
What web browsers does BrowZine Web support?
Browzine Web utilizes the latest in web technologies to deliver a fast, modern experience. As such, the latest browsers are necessary to deliver this experience to users. BrowZine is tested and works well on:
Chrome version 43+
Safari version 8+
Firefox version 31+
Internet Explorer version 11+
