Vera joined the Language
Centre at CityU in 2025. Prior to that, she had
considerable experience teaching EGAP and ESAP at
the tertiary level in various institutions and
contexts. Her experience also includes designing
curriculum materials and coordinating educational
development initiatives. Her research and
professional interests primarily focus on Corpus
Linguistics, Content Language Integrated Learning
(CLIL), and Communicative Language Teaching.
