A. New Researchers

Panel Title New Researchers Panel
Chairs Dr Adina Dudau, University of Glasgow, UK,
Panel Description This panel provides an opportunity for new researchers in public management (doctoral students and researchers three years into their academic careers) to discuss their research and work in progress with a distinguished international faculty. A Best Paper Prize is awarded every year to an early career researcher who is normally granted a fee waver for the following conference and whose paper is eligible for publishing in the Public Management Review journal. All presenters in the panel are entitled to join the IRSPM New Researchers Chapter and be part of a family of high flyers enjoying full support of the society in their career development.

All public management topics are eligible for this panel, preference being given however to papers related to the theme of the conference: Collaborative, Globalized and Interdisciplinary. The proposals for this panel must be for stand-alone papers (rather than PhD progress updates) and should be no longer than 500 words in length. Best proposals are likely to include: (i) relevance of the topic addressed and expected contribution to the literature, (ii) purpose of the paper, (iii) methods, (iv) main findings. The last paragraph of the paper proposal should include basic information about what qualifies the author as "new researcher".
