Dr Jeanine Sandy is a Boarded Anatomic Pathologist. After graduating with first class honours from the University of Queensland, 1991, she worked as a small animal clinician before completing a PhD in virology in the faculty of Medicine at the University of New South Wales in 1999. In 2000, she worked as a lecturer/senior lecturer and trained in anatomic pathology at the University of Melbourne. Dr Sandy completed Board exams of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in 2010 whilst working as a clinical instructor at the University of North Carolina. Jeanine worked in academic and private practice until 2018, when she joined CityU’s Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (VDL). In 2020, she accepted an academic position in the Veterinary Clinical Services as a Clinical Associate Professor. Her collaborative clinical research interests include dermatopathology, infectious disease and liver pathology.
