Dr. Catherine Cormack is the Scientific Officer for the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences.
She graduated with distinction in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from the University of Glasgow in 2007. After graduation, Dr. Cormack worked in the veterinary profession in the UK for a number of years where she gained experience in large animal, equine, exotic and small animal practice. She was also involved in the certification of live animals, meat and milk products for export from the UK around the world as an official veterinarian, registered with the UK Government.
Dr. Cormack then moved to Hong Kong in 2012 where she has spent several years working as a veterinarian in small animal and exotics practice, further developing her interest in veterinary internal medicine and exotic animal medicine.
Her veterinary background allows her to be able to support our veterinary students to develop their skills in animal husbandry, animal handling and clinical experience throughout their time at the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences.
