A showcase of recent applied research projects conducted by CS faculty members, and two mini-workshops on how to program a game with Raspberry Pi and how to control an mBot to follow a designated route for visitors to gain hands-on experience.

A wide collection of experiments and exhibits relating to current and potential applications of advanced materials will be accessible to visitors. These experiments and exhibits are selected to reflect the contents of the Materials Engineering Major as well as the results of the research by the professors in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.
Examples of the exhibits include nanomaterials which change colour with size, biomaterials which help correct deformed spine of human, metals which remembers their shapes, electronic displays and solar cells that can be rolled up and put into your pocket, etc.
