Research Assistant (2 posts) in the Department of Electrical Engineering (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. A/R/1168/09]

 

Duties

  1. Perform research on neural engineering research projects in the laboratory;
  2. Co-ordinate laboratory business and activities;
  3. Train students in the laboratory; and
  4. Perform any other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  1. A Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science or related disciplines with no more than a total of 6 years of service at the University;
  2. Being self-motivated with a good sense of responsibility and good problem solving skills; and
  3. Good communication and writing skills are required.
  4. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in conducting scientific experiments and/or programming, especially those with post-qualification work experience in neuroscience research projects and knowledge of data analysis.


Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
