Part-time Clerical Officer I/II in the Department of Electrical Engineering [Ref. T/063/24]

Duties

1. Provide assistance and support to academic programmes, including admissions, handling student enquiries, and programme-related publications, etc.;
2. Provide assistance and support to co-curricular activities, including internships, student exchange, and competitions, etc.;
3. Provide logistical support for departmental events, such as Commencement, out-reach activities, industrial liaison, exhibitions, and networking activities, etc.;
4. Coordinate matters related to departmental website, publicity, social media, and branding; and
5. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. 5 passes (Grade E/Level 2) in HKCEE/HKDSEE, including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A), Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 2 years’ of clerical experience;
2. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
3. Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills;
4. Strong proficiency in computer software applications;
5. A good team player with strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation;
6. Being attentive to work details and task quality; and
7. Ability to work independently under pressure.

Candidates with more than 6 years’ relevant working experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer I.

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
