Aquaculture Extension Services for Hong Kong

Duties

You will be part of a CityUHK veterinary team which provides veterinary service to fish farmers in Hong Kong. Main duties include to:

1. Provide veterinary service to fish farmers in Hong Kong;
2. Assist fish farmers in fish health matters and advising on husbandry issues;
3. Assist in training other technical officers and veterinary students in fish health;
4. Help to manage day-to-day operations of our veterinary service including equipment maintenance and record keeping;
5. Assist in client communication; and
6. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Shift duty and working on Saturdays, Sundays/public holidays may be required.

Requirements

A Diploma/Higher Certificate or above in Aquaculture/Agriculture or related disciplines, with at least 10 years’ relevant experience. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good record keeping, time management and organisational skills; and attention to details are required. Possession of a valid Hong Kong Driving license (Class 1 and 2) is a must.

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
