Manager (Office Administration) in the Campus Development Office [Ref. R/024/25]

Campus Development Office (CDO) is responsible for building project development and property maintenance. Our office provides comprehensive professional services across a vast array of building project types, including the institutional, office, residential, and hospitality categories. Our responsibilities range from master planning to architecture to interior design, covering all stages of the development process, from client’s brief and design requirements to project management and site supervision until project completion. CDO also provides facilities maintenance and building repair works to ensure the campus operates smoothly at all times.

Duties

Reporting to the Director of the Campus Development Office (CDO) or his/her delegate, the appointee is responsible for ensuring smooth office operations through administrative support, office coordination and departmental budget management. He/she acts as a key administrative support to CDO. Main duties include to:

  1. Lead and supervise the Office Administration Unit of CDO to ensure effective daily administrative support;
  2. Work closely with the senior management of CDO and the Human Resources Office in managing staff recruitment, contract renewal and other personnel matters;
  3. Update in-house guidelines and procedures;
  4. Streamline office procedures to improve efficiency;
  5. Plan, monitor, manage and report on the departmental financial status;
  6. Organise staff activities and promote staff well-being;
  7. Serve as the secretary for internal meetings; and
  8. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions or large corporations;
  2. Being confident and visionary, with strong presentation, organisational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  3. Being self-motivated for performance enhancement, with proven management and leadership abilities to complete tasks within tight schedules;
  4. Good computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and
  5. An excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese are required. Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
