Teaching Consultant in the Department of Media and Communication (Appointment for 24 months) [Ref. B/R/1340/09]

Duties

  1. Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in the fields of communication, and public relations, including evening classes for postgraduate courses;
  2. Organise programmes, events and activities to enrich students’ learning experience;
  3. Initiate and implement department-wide publicity and promotion programmes to enhance the branding and image of the Department;
  4. Initiate professional engagement, networking and outreach activities to enhance the academic and professional reputation of the Department;
  5. Coordinate and coach students to join various competitions/contests; and
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or the delegates.

Requirements

A relevant Master’s degree or above, with rich experience in media or public relations-related industry is required. Preference will be given to those with teaching experience at university level in the related areas.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
