Supra-nano Optical Protective Films On Ultra-thin Flexible Glass For Smart Electronic Devices

Duties

Conduct research and development on flexible, stretchable, and wearable electronic materials and devices.

Requirements

A PhD degree in Materials/Mechanical Engineering and no more than 3 years’ experience after the award of a PhD degree.  Candidates with strong publication record and experience in Nanomaterial by PVD or Study of Glasses are preferred.  Applicants without prior relevant publications but with an exceptionally strong record may also apply.

Applicants should have his/her degree awarded by either (i) a local university or (ii) a well-recognised non-local institution (For details, please refer to paragraph 6 of the Research Talent Hub Guideline stipulated by the Innovation and Technology Commission: https://www.itf.gov.hk/filemanager/en/content_90/RTH-ITF%20Guide_en_Jan%202022.pdf), or jointly awarded by a local university together with a non-local university.  The degree obtained should be in a science, technology, engineering and mathematics ("STEM") related discipline.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
