Public Relations Assistant I/II (Graphic Design) in Communications and Public Relations Office [Ref. D/317/09]



The appointee is responsible for providing professional design services for the publicity and publication projects of the Office.  Main duties include designing and updating layouts of brochures, magazines, advertorials, social media posts and other corporate communications materials; retouching photos for printing and online publishing through Content Management System (CMS); maintaining the smooth operation of online communication platforms; providing clerical and logistics support for university events; and performing any other duties as assigned.


5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with 2 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience in sizeable companies.  Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; computer literacy in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, English and Chinese word-processing; basic knowledge of video format conversion; good interpersonal and teamwork skills; and ability to work independently and under pressure against tight schedules are required.  Preference will be given to candidates with professional training in design or related disciplines.

Candidates with more than 6 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience may be considered for appointment as Public Relations Assistant I (Graphic Design).

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
