Executive Assistant I/II in the Academic Regulations and Records Office [Ref. C/805/09]

 

Duties

Provide clerical support for the maintenance of academic records, answer enquiries, liaise with departments and students, and assist in other matters relating to daily office operation; support the Senate Secretariat in the Senate meetings, elections and website maintenance, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Overtime work may be occasionally required.

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE, including the English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 2 years' relevant working experience.  Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good teamwork and interpersonal skills; attention to details; ability to work independently and under pressure against tight schedules are also required.  Candidates with higher education qualifications would be an advantage.

Candidates with more than 6 years' relevant post-qualification experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant I.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
