Project Officer (3 posts) in the Office of the Vice-President (Student Affairs) (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. B/R/999/09]

 

Duties

Reporting to the Associate Vice-President (Student Affairs) of the Office, the appointees will be responsible for:

  1. Providing high-quality English and Chinese writings and translation support;
  2. Studying, outlining, writing, proof-reading and editing contents of research output;
  3. Performing quantitative and qualitative statistical analysis;
  4. Creating engaging contents for social media and publicity materials;
  5. Collaborating closely with team members to ensure proper coordination and teamwork for ideas generation and project output; and
  6. Performing any other duties assigned.


Requirements

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Translation/Journalism/Social Sciences or related disciplines, with at least 2 years of solid writing experience in research, journalism, editorial or translation services;
  2. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  3. Proven record of handling production of publications or relevant experience; and
  4. Positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, strong critical and analytical mind, and being creative and self-motivated.


Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
