Project Officer (3 posts) in the Office of the Vice-President (Student Affairs) (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. B/R/1001/09]



Reporting to the Associate Vice-President (Student Affairs) of the Office, the appointees will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and executing in-person and virtual outreach events and student engagement activities;
  2. Promoting service-learning and leadership development programmes inside and outside CityU;
  3. Preparing proposals and programme reports;
  4. Liaising and coordinating with service partners and internal offices;
  5. Collaborating closely with team members to ensure proper coordination for ideas generation and project output; and
  6. Performing any other duties assigned.

The appointee will be also required to work flexible hours on a need basis.


  1. A Bachelor's degree in Social Work/Social Sciences or related disciplines;
  2. Preference will be given to Registered Social Worker and those with working experience in student development and service-learning projects;
  3. Good command of written and spoken English; and
  4. Being a team player with outgoing personality and good social skills.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
