Clerical Officer II in the Department of Electrical Engineering (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. A/R/1140/09]

 

Duties

Reporting to the Executive Officers in the department, the appointee will provide assistance in the following areas:

  1. Coordinate and implement new student learning enrichment initiatives and different student-related activities;
  2. Organize publicity activities (e.g. printed/online media promotion, video production);
  3. Organize alumni activities and alumni database enhancement;
  4. Coordinate and implement initiatives on enhancing the relationship and collaboration with industry;
  5. Handle general administration of the department; and
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned.



Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree;
  2. At least 2 years’ working experience;
  3. Strong proficiency in computer software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Chinese word processing, Access and Photoshop);
  4. Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  5. Strong sense of responsibility with initiatives, attention to details and work quality; and
  6. Ability to perform effectively and efficiently in a team and work under pressure against tight schedules are required.
  7. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience.
