Visiting Fellow (2 Posts) in the Chan Feng Men-ling Chan Shuk-lin Language Centre (Appointment for 12 months with possibility of extension) [Ref. B/R/977/09]

 

Duties

The Chan Feng Men-ling Chan Shuk-lin Language Centre is seeking Visiting Fellows for the Academic Year 2021/22.  The appointees will lead language learning activities for undergraduate students, develop materials, and provide individual consultations to help students develop their English out of the classroom.  Subject to the needs of the Language Centre, Visiting Fellows may also be assigned supervised teaching duties.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree or higher in English/TESOL or a related subject with a relevant TESOL qualification (e.g. a Cambridge CELTA) is required.  Prior teaching or teaching support experience, including IELTS preparation, creativity in materials development, good interpersonal communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team would be an advantage.


Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Terms of appointment will be based on the current visiting remuneration package.
