Executive Officer II in the Centre for Applied One Health Research and Policy Advice (Appointment up to 31 December 2025 with possibility of extension) [Ref. T/042/25]

Duties

Provide administrative support to the Centre, and executive assistance to the Centre’s Director. Duties include procurement and accounting management of internal and external funds; human resources management; ensuring compliance with University guidelines and requirements of external funds; organisation of conferences/seminars, other events and functions; coordination of incoming visits of guests; support to the research team; liaison with internal and external parties; and undertaking any other assignments.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word-processing; good organisational and problem-solving skills; being self-motivated and resourceful; and ability to work independently and under pressure with a strong sense of responsibility are required. Prior experience in budget management or human resources management would be an advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
