Photographer in the Communications and Institutional Research Office (Appointment for 3 months) [Ref. T/037/25]

Duties

  1. Capture and retouch photographs for University events, ceremonies, souvenirs, and other occasions;
  2. Collaborate with various departments to capture and produce high-quality images for communication materials, websites, and social media platforms of the University;
  3. Provide creative input and direction during photo shoots to ensure that the University's visual content aligns with its branding and communication goals;
  4. Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive digital photo archive system for the University;
  5. Assist in managing and maintaining photography equipment, ensuring that all cameras, lenses, and lighting gear are in optimal working conditions; and
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Frequent travel and working irregular working hours will be required.

Requirements

  1. A Diploma with not less than 7 years’ solid experience in the related areas of work;
  2. Proficiency in photography, including the use of camera equipment, lighting setups, photography studio arrangements, and photo-editing software such as Adobe Photoshop;
  3. Good knowledge of the good practices, culture and development of the higher education sector;
  4. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  5. Being a good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  6. Ability to produce high-quality outputs in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment are required.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a skill assessment test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
