Producer in the Communications and Institutional Research Office (Appointment for 3 months) [Ref. T/036/25]
Duties
Assist in the production of high-quality bilingual video clips for the University, such as helping with the research and scriptwriting process and initiating production ideas;
Assist in the procurement of filming and post-production services;
Collaborate with external vendors to create engaging video content;
Assist in building up a digital archive system for the video clips of the University;
Assist in managing and maintaining video equipment, ensuring that all cameras, lenses, and lighting gear are in optimal working conditions; and
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Working irregular working hours and on public holidays may be required.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Creative Media/Multimedia/Video Production or a related discipline, with not less than 7 years’ solid experience in the related areas of work;
Proficiency in hands-on video production, including operating camera equipment for filming and utilising video editing software and tools for post-production to create high-quality and polished video content;
Proficiency in Adobe CS, including Premiere Pro, After Effect, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other graphic design/video editing tools;
Good knowledge of the good practices, culture and development of the higher education sector;
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
Being a good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
Ability to produce high-quality outputs in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment are required.
Proficiency in animation, AI-production tools, and DaVinci Resolve would be an advantage.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a skill assessment test.
