Clerical Officer I/II in the Hong Kong Branch of National Precious Metals Material Engineering Research Center [Ref. R/130/25]
Duties
- Assist in overseeing and arranging logistical support for center activities, such as conferences, lab visits, seminars, and talks;
- Liaise with internal and external parties to plan and set up the conference venue and coordinate with speakers;
- Create and update promotional materials such as posters, videos, and booklets;
- Assist with the center’s website, social media, and branding;
- Provide administrative support to the office;
- Manage records and databases; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
The appointee will be required to work flexible hours on a need basis.
Requirements
- A degree holder with 5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE, including English Language, Chinese Language, and Mathematics, and at least 2 years of relevant working experience;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to details;
- Ability to work independently under tight schedules and as a team player; and
- Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word-processing).
- Knowledge of IT applications and experience in providing IT support are preferred; and
- A Bachelor degree/Higher Diploma in Marketing/Event Marketing/Communications, or related disciplines and experience in designing promotional materials and video production would be an advantage.
Candidates with more than 6 years’ experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer I.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
