Assistant Communications Manager in the Communications and Institutional Research Office [Ref. R/116/25]

Duties

  1. Develop and design layouts for various promotional materials, including brochures, advertorials, and social media posts, for both print and digital platforms;
  2. Contribute to the continuous updating and enhancement of corporate communications materials;
  3. Execute and monitor social media campaigns across platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and optimal audience engagement;
  4. Provide assistance and support in the planning and execution of events; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of solid post-qualification experience in related areas of work;
  2. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  3. Proven expertise in social media management, including content creation, platform optimisation, and analytics, to drive engagement and visibility; and
  4. Being a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  5. A good knowledge of best practices, culture, and developments in the higher education sector is preferred.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
