Executive Officer I/II in the Communications and Institutional Research Office [Ref. R/111/25]

The appointee will be a key member to assist in promoting a data-driven planning and decision-making culture.

Duties

  1. Collect and consolidate data from various offices and units for both internal and external reporting purposes;
  2. Analyse data sets, identify trends and patterns to provide insights;
  3. Create reports and visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders;
  4. Maintain and update databases to ensure data integrity; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree, and preferably a Master’s degree, in Data Science/Computer Science/Mathematics or a relevant discipline;
  2. At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification working experience;
  3. Proficiency in SQL, MS Access, MS Excel, and data visualisation tools (such as Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI);
  4. Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R;
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; and
  6. Good communication and presentation skills are required.
  7. Experience with Oracle Essbase would be an advantage.

Candidates with less post-qualification working experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
