Assistant Officer (Multimedia Design) in the Department of Public and International Affairs [Ref. R/099/25]

Duties

  1. Design Marketing Materials: Create visual content, including social media posts, leaflets, products, and website UI/UX, to support the department’s promotional activities;
  2. Community Engagement and Social Media Management: Engage with the student community, manage social media accounts, and handle knowledge transfer administration;
  3. Event Support: Provide logistical assistance for departmental events, such as student and alumni activities, as well as promotional and outreach activities;
  4. Clerical Support: Offer clerical support to faculty members, academic programme management, and support teaching timetabling; and
  5. Ad Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks as required.

Requirements

  1. 5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language, and Mathematics, with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience;
  2. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua), strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, attention to details, and the ability to work independently and under pressure against tight schedules;
  3. Preference will be given to candidates with strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); and
  4. Familiarity with audio and visual equipment and creative software (including but not limited to, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom) will be a significant advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
