Clerical Officer I/II in the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering [Ref. R/096/25]

Duties

1. Provide support for the Master programmes, including admissions, daily operation, Master’s Dissertation coordination, student study progress monitoring, student enquiries, and promotions;
2. Assist in examination and assessment-related matters;
3. Provide support for UG admission, Information Day, JUPAS Consultation Day;
4. Undertake housekeeping tasks in the departmental general office; and
5. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. 5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 6 years’ relevant working experience;
2. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
3. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, good interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility;
4. Being attentive to work details and task quality; and
5. Ability to work independently and efficiently on multiple tasks.

The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours.

Candidates with less than 6 years’ relevant working experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer II.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
