Clerical Officer I/II in the Department of Accountancy [Ref. R/078/25]

Duties

  1. Provide administrative and clerical support for the department’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and courses, including admissions, daily administration, student study process monitoring, and postgraduate research seminars;
  2. Support matters related to programme accreditation and quality assurance;
  3. Coordinate data compilation for teaching assignments, timetabling, elective selection and servicing requirements;
  4. Provide logistics support for various activities such as information day, student orientations, conferences, seminars, etc;
  5. Undertake housekeeping tasks in the departmental general office; and
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. 5 passes (Grade E/Level 2) in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A), Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 2 years’ working experience;
  2. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  3. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, good interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility;
  4. Being attentive to work details and task quality;
  5. Ability to work independently and efficiently on multiple tasks; and
  6. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word-processing) are required.
  7. Knowledge of Photoshop and MS Access would be an advantage.

Candidates with more than 6 years’ relevant working experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer I.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
