Executive Officer I/II in the Hong Kong Institute for Advanced Study [Ref. R/042/25]

Duties

  1. Provide administrative support to the Institute and its key stakeholders;
  2. Prepare reports, proposals, presentations, and publicity materials;
  3. Support activities such as conferences, distinguished lectures, seminars, and workshops; and
  4. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ relevant experience at the executive level;
  2. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  3. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills;
  4. Being self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; and
  5. Proficiency in IT, including operational problem-solving skills and familiarity with AI tools are required.
  6. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Solutions and design tools would be an advantage.
  7. Ability to speak French is a plus.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
