Executive Officer I/II in the Department of Media and Communication [Ref. R/025/25]

Duties

  1. Administer undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including student admissions, timetabling, scholarship, course administration, curriculum development, quality assurance and related work processes;
  2. Provide support to academic- and student-administration services;
  3. Handle student advising matters, and enquiries from students and staff on programmes and courses;
  4. Provide administrative/secretarial support to departmental committees/meetings, and assist in compiling papers and reports; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ relevant experience;
  2. A dynamic personality and good interpersonal and communication skills;
  3. Self-motivation with a strong sense of responsibility, a proactive work attitude, and attention to details; and
  4. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is required.
  5. Proficiency in using MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). 

Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
