Executive Officer I/II in the Cultural Exchange Oasis (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. D/R/142/09]

 

Duties

  1. Plan, coordinate and implement cultural-related projects and events, including but not limited to tours, lectures, exhibitions, workshops, conferences and performances;
  2. Communicate and work closely with internal and external parties to ensure smooth execution of projects and events;
  3. Develop and execute online and offline publicity and promotional initiatives, including printed materials and social media management; 
  4. Prepare project proposals and reports;
  5. Provide administrative and executive support to the Office for its daily operation; and
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

The appointee is required to work irregular hours and travel to Mainland China occasionally.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably with 2 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience;
  2. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  3. Good interpersonal and communication skills, and computer literacy;
  4. Confidence in communicating across all levels;
  5. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail; and
  6. Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure are required.
  7. Experience in event support/art administration would be an advantage.

 

Candidates with more than 7 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer I.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
