Clerical Officer I/II in the Office of the Chief Information Officer [Ref. D/310/09]

 

Duties

The appointee is required to provide secretarial support to the Chief Information Officer (including managing diary, scheduling of meetings, assisting in committee work, and preparing agendas and papers); assist in departmental personnel matters; and undertake any other duties as assigned.


Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 6 years’ relevant working experience.  A Higher Diploma/Associate Degree/Bachelor’s Degree in Business and IT related disciplines would be beneficial but not mandatory.  Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong MS Office, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; demonstrated competence in performing complex clerical duties and coordinating with different stakeholders; being a good team player with attention to details; and the ability to work independently and under pressure are required.

Candidates with less working experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer II.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
