Assistant IT Manager (UI/UX) in the Enterprise Solutions Office [Ref. D/289/09]

 

CityU’s Enterprise Solutions Office (ESU) is responsible for implementing and managing the University’s central information systems and enterprise content management system.  Working in partnership with departments to integrate information technology into administrative processes, the Enterprise Solutions Office aspires to provide efficient services to students, staff, alumni, and the University administration.

We are hiring a User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) design professional to join the Office.  Main duties include to:

  1. Produce UI/UX design for websites, web applications, mobile apps, email marketing, etc.;
  2. Develop and maintain websites with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.;
  3. Maintain and update the university web templates and website with a web content management system; and
  4. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related disciplines, with at least 5 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience;
  2. Solid experience in liaising with stakeholders for user requirements;
  3. Solid experience in website development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap;
  4. Eagerness to explore and adopt cutting-edge technologies and passion for delivering user-centric products;
  5. Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua;
  6. Ability to work independently and under pressure are required; and
  7. Experience in mobile apps, Drupal websites, .NET web applications, PHP website development, and custom relationship management (CRM) system would be definitely an advantage.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
