Production Manager in the Communications and Public Relations Office [Ref. D/283/09]

 

Duties

  1. Oversee and coordinate the production of high-level bilingual video clips for the University;
  2. Perform as editor, writer or researcher; generating production ideas and plans;
  3. Build up a digital archive system for saving and searching of all video clips of the University;
  4. Assist in staff supervision and managing resources; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director or his delegates.


The appointee may be required to work outside office hours as and when necessary.

 

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus relevant professional/postgraduate qualification; with at least 10 years’ post-qualification solid experience in the related areas of work;
  2. Good knowledge of the good practices, culture and development of the higher education sector;
  3. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua;
  4. Ability to be a good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  5. Ability to produce high-quality outputs in a face-paced and multi-cultural environment are required.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
