Provide administrative support to the Centre. Duties include procurement and accounting management of internal and external funds; human resources management; ensuring compliance with University guidelines and requirements of external funds; organisation of conferences/seminars, other events and functions; coordination of incoming visits of guests; support to the research team; liaison with internal and external parties in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas countries; and undertaking any other assignments.
A Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' relevant post-qualification working experience, preferably in tertiary education sector. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word-processing; good organisational and problem solving skills; being self-motivated and resourceful; and ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility are required. Prior experience in managing Government research grants would be an advantage.
