Assistant IT Officer II/Technical Support Assistant in the School of Creative Media (Appointment up to 30 June 2023) [Ref. C/R/428/09]

 

Duties

  1. Provide user support to IT and AV services;
  2. Support and set up computer labs and AV facilities;
  3. Assist in counter services;
  4. Assist in website updates; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  1. 5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience;
  2. Preference will be given to Associate Degree/Higher Diploma holders in Computer Science/Information Technology/Creative Media or related disciplines;
  3. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  4. Good knowledge of and skills in AV/IT equipment (e.g., MS Windows and Macintosh user support experience);
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and
  6. Ability to work independently within a diverse team-based environment.


Fresh graduates or candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Technical Support Assistant.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
