Technical Officer/Technical Support Assistant (AV Support) in the School of Creative Media (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. C/R/394/09]

 

Duties

  1. Provide technical support and set up equipment for School’s events, conferences and seminars;
  2. Provide video shooting and visual media editing support;
  3. Assist in maintaining video shooting and AV equipment;
  4. Perform housekeeping in School’s teaching venues and facilities; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  1. 5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience;
  2. Preference will be given to Bachelor’s degree/Associate degree/Higher Diploma holders in Creative Media/Multimedia Design/Film/Theatre Production or related disciplines;
  3. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  4. Good knowledge of and skills in AV equipment, production and multimedia software;
  5. Good computer skills (including MS Office, Excel and Chinese word-processing);
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and
  7. Ability to work independently within a diverse team-based environment.

 

Fresh graduates or candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Technical Support Assistant.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
