Executive Assistant/Clerical Officer I/II in the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences [Ref. C/746/09]

 

 

Duties

  1. Provide all-round administrative and IT support to the College office;
  2. Support network, hardware and software upgrade, replacement, procurement and maintenance;
  3. Handle IT incidents, service requests and user enquiries;
  4. Liaise and work with vendors for IT project implementation;
  5. Assist in the administration of graduate programmes and student activities;
  6. Coordinate with relevant offices on facility management, physical layout and space maintenance;
  7. Manage and update departmental webpages and social media platforms; and
  8. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience.  Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and excellent computer skills are required.  Experience of office IT support, website maintenance and network administration would be an advantage.

Candidates with more than 6 years’ relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer I.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
