Project Officer (3 posts) in the Student Development Services (Appointment up to 30 June 2023 with possibility of extension) [Ref. B/R/998/09]

 

Duties

The appointees will work under the Student Life and Resources Section and assist in service-learning programmes, cultural development activities, and/or special projects. Main duties include:

  1. Supporting the planning and implementation of service-learning programmes, cultural development activities, and/or special projects (including liaison and fostering the operation with work partners and participating in student groups);
  2. Managing and updating the promotional channels (including the programme websites and social media pages);
  3. Assisting in developing advocacy initiatives;
  4. Providing support in the daily operation of a student centre (i.e. Flow Centre), and meeting the needs of the specific programmes; and
  5. Performing any other duties as assigned.


The appointees will be required to work flexible hours on a need basis.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Social Sciences/Media and Communication/Creative Media/Marketing/Recreation Management;
  2. A dynamic personality and good interpersonal and communication skills;
  3. Ability to plan and organise events and activities independently and proactively; and
  4. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required.
  5. Relevant experience in community service or cultural activities, working knowledge of design software (e.g. Adobe) and sound knowledge of video production and social media platform preferred.

Fresh graduates are welcome.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.


Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
