Clerical Officer in the Department of Management (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. B/R/1230/09]

Duties

The appointee will assist a team of academic staff and SEO in the programme promotion and student activities.  Main duties include to:

  • Assist in the design and copywriting of posts on social media platforms/accounts, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn;
  • Assist SEO in the departmental website revamp project;
  • Assist in planning, coordinating and organising student activities, including career-related workshops, practitioner talks, business luncheon/dinner, personal development and team-building activities;
  • Assist in searching for outreach learning opportunities for students;
  • Assist in organising programme promotional events such as Information Day and School Visits; and
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

 
Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience.  Excellent computer skills (including MS Office, Google Workspace applications, and Adobe Creative Suite); excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good communication and interpersonal skills; strong sense of responsibility and attention to details are required.  Application with experience in social media design and content production and/or experience in marketing and event management will be an advantage.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
