Clerical Officer in the Office of the Vice-President (Research and Technology) (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. B/R/1221/09]

The appointee will report to the Manager (HK Tech 300) or the delegate and support the daily operation of HK Tech 300 (http://www.cityu.edu.hk/hktech300/).

Duties

  1. Provide daily administrative support to the operations of the HK Tech 300;
  2. Assist in promotion and recruitment;
  3. Organising interviews, events, workshops, or seminars;
  4. Work with different functional teams within HK Tech 300 to ensure smooth delivery of event components/deliverables; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 6 years’ working experience. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); computer literacy; good interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work independently and efficiently.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
