Executive Officer II in the College of Business (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. B/R/1219/09]

Duties

The appointee will play a supporting role in the Business Career Development team to help business students enhance their employability through organising cutting-edge career development programmes and events; and handle tasks independently including but not limited to the following:

  1. Career Development: Support the coordination of business career fair, career development programmes and recruitment talks to equip students with job readiness skillsets;
  2. Internship Programmes: Provide administrative support to a variety of internship programmes and manage communications between students, employers and partners;
  3. Student Nomination:  Perform screening and selection of students for internship and graduate job nominations;
  4. Career Advising: Keep abreast of students’ career aspirations and job search progress, be an effective facilitator to identify students’ career interest and map suitable career opportunities for them;
  5. Information and Resources Management: Assist in EDM marketing, event logistics, procurement and compile relevant reports for evaluation and planning; and
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

The appointee is also required to work irregular hours occasionally.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ relevant post-qualification solid experience, preferably in multinational talent acquisition/management or university career service;
  2. Strong analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills, with strong business acumen and proactive attitude;
  3. Excellent communication skills with strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
  4. Strong student-centric approach, tech savvy and ability to work as a team.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
